Kettlehouse

Check out some of the work I have done recently on the Kettlehouse. The board and batten structure I am making uses most of the old boards from the cave's cheese shelves. The battens that fasten it down are some of the pine we harvested from the woods last winter, and milled this spring. I started creating this enclosure on the south side of the former cheese plant to hold the Brewkettle. The combination of salts and molds has created interesting patterns and colors on the wood. I will have three large windows facing the east, to capture the morning sun and look at the fields and forests in that direction. Also on the east side will be some wood storage.
