Imagined Frame

This logo is a drawing that came out of an evolution imagery that I have been working with for a while. Since the beginning, I've had this recurring theme in my versions of logos that had things emerging from containers, like cabinets, cauldrons, barrels or barns . This is a paired down version, I've reduced the visual language of the image to a simple cabinet door, imagined into existence; floating in the ether, revealing the storage of the name, as if this were its natural repository. I enjoy that it is cut from the tether of a framework, like a cabinet. It feels repurposed and given the opportunity to reveal itself inset in a landscape or other imagined frame.
